Happy Easter Monday and I hope all of you had a great Easter!
Right now I am pretty much 70% chocolate lol.
Im still on Easter holidays and I DONT WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL

DIY Lace Shorts :p

 

You will need

A pair of shorts

An A4 Piece Of Lace

Scissors

Fabric glue

Marker

 

Get your shorts and your scissors and cut a triangular shape out of the side of your shorts

 

Next get your A4 Sheet of lace and put it under the triangle and cut the triangle shape with about a 2

centimetre edge for space for the glue

 

Put the glue around the edge of the lace and press it down on top of the shorts where the lace is.

 

Leave a book on top of them and wait a few hours and wear!

Movies!

Tinkerbell and the Pirate fairy ✨🐊
This morning I watched the new Tinkerbell movie as I am quite obsessed with Disney and Tinkerbell. To b honest when it ended I was sadly a bit disappointed. In other Tinkerbell movies a lot more adventure happens but in this one, they were dealing with pretty much the same thing as a while ago which was saving the dust. However I did like the way it crossed on Peter Pan, after all that's were tinkerbell came from! The really cute crocodile in it is actually the crocodile in peter pan that makes the ticking noise because it eats the guy with the striped tshirts mothers clock so its eyes bop up and down. It also included things like skull island, Captain hook, the flying ship and again, the crocodile. Near the end u saw the crcocodile trying to bite Hooks leg, which its mentioned in Peter Pan, the crcocodile bites of Hooks leg. I give this movie 6/10

Divergent 🔥💑
I have read the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth, and I have been really excited for the movie ever since. I saw the movie 2 weeks ago with my 2 friends, and I was fairly pleased with the movie. I taught it was as intruiging as the book was , but I was disappointed with how they left out some big bits from the book. Like Uriah was mentioned once in the movie but u never actually saw him and it wasn't clear that Will and Christina were dating, and Edward didn't get stabbed in the eye with a butterknife. It was quite rushed though. Although it was like 2 and a half hours long, I still found it quite rushed. I was really annoyed by the ending because although you want to see the next one because I have read the books and Im interested in how it goes out, really if I had no interest in the books, the ending was really disappointing and it could of been better. 7.5/10

Macaroon Recipe!

 

French Macaron Recipe Ingredients

4 large egg whites (or 5 small) 140g (4.94 ounces)
1/3 cup or 70g (2.47 ounces) caster sugar [*US cups 1/3 cup plus 1 tsp]
1 1/2 cups or 230g (8.11 ounces) pure icing sugar [US cups 1 1/2 cups plus 4 tsp] OR 1 3/4 cups 230g (8.11 ounces) icing mixture [US cups 1 3/4 cups plus 4 tsp]
1 cup or 120g (4.23 ounces) almond meal [US cups 1 cup plus 3 teaspoons]
2g (0.07 ounces) salt (tiny pinch)
gel food colouring (optional)
(*cup measurements are metric cups where 1 cup=250ml in the USA cups use customary units so 1 cup = 236ml so you need to add a little bit extra as detailed in the recipe.).
Macaron Recipe Directions

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees C

Place egg whites and cater sugar in a bowl and mix with electric mixer until stiff enough to turn the bowl upside down without it falling out, continue to whip for 1-2 more minutes.  How long this takes will depend on you mixer.  Add gel or powdered food colouring and continue to mix for a further 20seconds.

Sift the almond meal and icing sugar and salt twice, discarding any almond lumps that are too big to pass through the sieve. Fold into the egg white mixture. It should take roughly 30-50 folds using a rubber spatula.  The mixture should be smooth and a very viscous, not runny. Over-mix and your macarons will be flat and have no foot, under mix and they will not be smooth on top.

Pipe onto trays lined with baking paper, rap trays on the bench firmly (this prevents cracking) and then bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Check if one comes off the tray fairly cleanly, if not bake for a little longer (make sure you are using NON-stick baking paper or they will stick). 

 

Filling your macaroons

You can use jam and cream, butter cream  or just eat them plain.

Ganache Recipe
100g (3.53 ounces) chocolate
30ml cream
Bring the cream to the boil and pour over the chocolate. Let stand for a minute and then stir. If it is not adequately melted then microwave for 20 seconds and stir – repeat until smooth. Allow to cool and thicken before piping onto macarons.
